Malian Intelligence Chief Modibo Koné Visits Sudan to Strengthen Bilateral Ties
Bamako, Mali – The head of Malian intelligence, Colonel Modibo Koné, recently concluded a 48-hour working visit to Sudan, where he met with Sudanese leader Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan. This high-level engagement underscores the deepening strategic partnership between Mali and Sudan.
Strengthening Mali-Sudan Relations
Koné’s visit follows Sudanese President Al-Burhan’s historic trip to Mali earlier this year, during which both nations explored avenues for enhanced cooperation. During Al-Burhan’s visit to Mali, he was received by Malian President Assimi Goïta alongside key ministers, including:
