Morocco’s national team coach, Walid Regragui, has called up Youssef Belamri, a player from Raja CA, to join the squad’s training camp ahead of their upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Tanzania on Tuesday.
According to Hesport, Belamri’s inclusion comes as a replacement for Achraf Hakimi, who is unavailable for the match due to an accumulation of yellow cards.
The Moroccan team secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Niger on Friday, scoring a last-minute winner to extend their lead at the top of Group E with 12 points.
The match against Tanzania is set to take place at the Stade d’Honneur in Oujda on Tuesday at 9:30 PM (local time).
