Kazuyasu Adachi Joins as General Manager, APAC and President, Japan

BOSTON, April 01, 2025 — Anaqua, a leading provider of innovation and intellectual property (IP) management technology solutions and services, today announced significant changes to its executive leadership in Japan and the broader Asia-Pacific region.

Kazuyasu Adachi has joined Anaqua as General Manager, APAC and President, Japan, taking responsibility for all commercial activities in Japan and Asia-Pacific while serving on Anaqua’s global executive team. This strategic appointment comes as the company continues its trajectory of steady growth and investment in the region.

Extensive IP Industry Experience

Adachi brings over 30 years of IP industry expertise to his new role. His distinguished career includes:

  • 25 years at Panasonic Holdings Corporation in various management positions
  • Service as President and Representative Director of Panasonic IP Management Co., Ltd.
  • Key involvement in IP activities at Suntory Holdings Limited
  • Extensive experience in global IP management and dispute resolution across Europe, the United States, and Asia

Educational Background and Personal Interests

Adachi holds multiple advanced degrees:

  • Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in metallurgical engineering from Osaka University
  • Master of Arts in practicing management from Lancaster University (UK)
  • Bachelor of Laws degree from Kindai University (Japan)

Based in Tokyo during the week and spending weekends with family in Kobe, Adachi maintains a passion for golf that began during his university years.
