Fatal Traffic Accident in Tlemcen Leaves One Dead, Five Injured

Tlemcen, Algeria – A tragic traffic accident near the Kidia tunnel in Tlemcen province resulted in one fatality and five injuries, according to local Civil Protection Services.

Emergency Response and Accident Details

The Advanced Center for Civil Protection Bab Oran, in coordination with National Security forces, responded to the incident involving a tourist vehicle. Authorities reported that the car swerved off the road and collided with a roadside sign, causing significant damage.

Victims and Medical Response

The accident involved six victims of both genders, ranging in age from 19 to 30 years old. All injured individuals sustained wounds of varying severity and were promptly transported to Tlemcen Hospital for treatment. Tragically, the 25-year-old driver succumbed to their injuries after arriving at the medical facility.
