President Barrow Strengthens NPP Campaign Team Ahead of 2026 Elections
President Adama Barrow has appointed Momodou Sabally as the deputy national campaign manager of the ruling New People’s Party (NPP), in a strategic move to bolster the party’s grassroots mobilization efforts.
With the country preparing for the 2026 presidential election, this appointment is seen as a crucial step in enhancing the NPP’s voter engagement strategy. The party leadership believes Sabally’s experience will significantly strengthen their campaign structure.
Party Leadership Expresses Full Support
“The Secretary General and Party Leader of the NPP extended his warmest congratulations to Mr. Sabally on this important official responsibility,” said Seedy SK Njie, Deputy Spokesperson for the NPP.
Njie added: “He conveyed his full support, as well as that of the party’s executive and its entire membership. Furthermore, the Party Leader seized this opportunity to issue a strong call to action to all members and supporters of the NPP and its allied partner parties.”
The statement emphasized the need for continued collaboration and unity among party members to build on existing achievements as they prepare for the upcoming electoral contest.
