HARARE – Barely a week after holding their Annual General Meeting (AGM), the Northern Region Women’s Soccer League (NRWSL) will host an induction event for its clubs.
The event is scheduled for Saturday at Horizon Inn in Harare, starting at 9 AM.
The NRWSL vice chairperson Colonel Winnet Murota said the induction is set to help clubs, particularly new ones, to “understand the leagues’ rules and regulations” ahead of the 2025 campaign.
“The main objective of the induction is for the Clubs to be on the same wavelength and also for the Clubs to understand the rules and regulations of Northern Region,” said Murota.
The NRWSL will officially welcome new teams including MWOS and Scottland FC, while preparing for the upcoming season.
Other teams set to compete in the league, aiming for promotion to the top flight, include ZRP Queens and Ngezi Platinum.
Furthermore, Harare City Cubs, Jonah Queens, Shedza Queens, University of Zimbabwe and Dynamos will also participate in the NRWSL.
