During his stay, President Asibey will engage with prominent stakeholders in South African sports, including:

  • The National Olympic Committee (NOC)
  • The South African Sports Commission
  • The South African Armwrestling Federation

These discussions aim to explore growth opportunities for armwrestling, enhance athlete development, and reinforce the AFA’s leadership in governing the sport in Africa.

Media Partnerships and Championship Participation

A highlight of the visit includes meetings with SuperSport, Africa’s premier sports broadcaster, at Multichoice House. The talks will focus on expanding armwrestling coverage to reach wider audiences across the continent.

Additionally, President Asibey will serve as the Guest of Honor at the 2025 South African National Armwrestling Championship on April 4-5. The event will showcase top talent from the nation, with his presence adding prestige to the competition.
