Sydney, Australia – Music lovers in Australia are in for a treat as Ghana’s legendary musician Kojo Antwi prepares for his first-ever performance in the country. The highly anticipated concert, scheduled for April 19, 2025, at Bonnyrigg Sports Club, has already sold out four days before the event.

A Night of Timeless Music and Cultural Celebration

The event is expected to draw attendees from across Australia’s five states, including Ghanaians, other African communities, and Australian music enthusiasts. Antwi, affectionately known as “The Maestro,” will perform his classic hits in what promises to be a marathon of nostalgic love songs.

Australia-based Ghanaian musician Anthem will provide supporting performances for the historic show. The concert marks Antwi’s debut performance in Australia, adding to his impressive international repertoire that includes shows in the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada.

Strengthening Ghana-Australia Cultural Ties

Prior to the concert, Antwi met with Australian High Commissioner to Ghana, Her Excellency Berenice Owen-Jones, to discuss his upcoming tour. The meeting highlighted the growing cultural exchange between the two nations.

“Music and the arts have long been a bridge between cultures, and Kojo Antwi’s visit highlights the deepening cultural exchange between Ghana and Australia,” stated the High Commissioner’s office.

High Commissioner Owen-Jones praised Antwi for his role in bringing Ghana’s vibrant music to global audiences and wished him success for his Australian tour.

The sold-out concert at 610-618 Elizabeth Drive, Bonnyrigg Heights NSW 2177, represents a significant milestone in African music’s global reach and the enduring appeal of Kojo Antwi’s musical legacy.
